Let’s talk custom art!
Commissioned custom art is a perfect way to show others your thoughtfulness. It is also a way to intentionally finish a room with art that is a custom size and color palette that fits your budget and unique aesthetic.
Interior designers and art consultants, collaborations are welcome!
Here’s what you can expect:
Consultation
We will discuss your objectives. What are you looking for in your custom artwork? Do you have inspiring reference photos? Do you want something similar to an existing work from my portfolio, but in a different size or color scheme? Whether we do this over a live facetime or zoom call or via e-mail, we will determine what it is you are looking to achieve. Custom quotes are provided during the commission process.
Mock-Up (Optional Step)
After the initial discussion, we will have a good idea of the reference photos or pre-existing artwork and style to have a clear path forward without a mock-up. In my experience, most collectors do not need a mock-up of the intended final artwork prior to signing a contract. They rely on my skill set and perspective demonstrated by my portfolio and years of experience. If the commission is more complex and the budget permits, a mock-up will be provided in advance of the next step.
Agreement & Deposit
Once we have a clear vision, I will send you a short agreement summarizing our commission details along with an invoice for a 50% deposit. Accepted payment methods are ACH, CC, and PayPal.
Creation Process
Once the contact is signed and the 50% deposit has been received, I will begin making your custom artwork.Lead time for a custom piece can vary, typically ranging from 2 to 6 weeks. Please note that Christmas gifts are best placed by September 1, but do not hesitate to reach out to see if there is still availability on my commission calendar.
Completion & Final Payment
Final images will be sent along with a second invoice for the remaining 50%. Shipping costs are invoiced separately and depend on the dimensions of the artwork, weight, and your location. Once all payments are received, your work will be shipped. For Greater Cincinnati collectors, professional installation may be arranged ad an additional cost.
