Custom Pet Portraits by Lindsey Kiser

Warning: MY PET PORTRAITS ARE  KNOWN TO INDUCE WEEPING. Give cautiously.

I accept a few commissions for custom artwork each month. Apply here or contact me.

I paint pets in acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas (no need for framing) and scratchboard, which will need to be framed by you. To commission a scratchboard, Lindsey will determine if your photographs are of high enough quality and definition.

Expect at least one month for completion and 1 week for shipping.

Application for a Pet Portrait

Pet Portraits Form

Because custom artwork is custom for a single collector, payments are made in two installments: (1) half upfront prior to beginning work; and (2) the final half payment is to be made after the final image has been approved by the collector and before shipping. Prices do not include U.S. Ground Shipping or local sales tax.

The artist is equipped to work from multiple photographs per the examples below. The collector has the right to make two change requests during the painting process. Do not expect the final artwork to be a photograph of your pet, but instead a beautiful, artistic tribute to your pet, rendered in the style of the artist, similar to the images found below.

“What do you give family members who are hard to buy for? Something special, but what? That’s when I remembered Lindsey Kiser. I gave 4 custom painted pet portraits to loved ones this past Christmas, and they were all a hit!”

Acrylic Pet Portraits by Lindsey Kiser

“When I wanted a custom pet portrait of our 16 year old Havanese, I asked my friend and fellow Kentucky Arts Council board member, Lindsey Kiser, to create the perfect Christmas gift for my husband. She beautifully captured Buffy’s fun-loving spirit and the adorable twinkle in her eye. I can’t tell you how much we both love our portrait of Buffy!”
