Description
Bejeweled Messenger by Lindsey Kiser
A ruby throated hummingbird accidentally pollinates a blossom while seeking nectar from red blossoms especially designed with a long tubular form to prevent bees from doing the pollination. The graceful curves of the hummingbird are accentuated against the black background. Even the blossoms cooperate with the nourishment of the hummingbird by providing red blossoms that are indistinguishable from green leaves to the bees that are color-blind to red! Amazing!
Bejeweled Messenger is a 6″ x 6″ original scratchboard with colorful ink and iridescent watercolor. It comes framed in a black floater frame to about 7.5″ x 7.5″ and 1.5″ deep.
