April Birth Flower: The Daisy
Did you know that you have a birth month flower? The tradition of assigning a flower (or two) for each month of the year dates back to Roman times. Over time, the meaning and symbolism has changed.
April’s birth flower is the daisy.
The daisy is associated with purity, childbirth, new beginnings, and cheerfulness. It is also associated with childhood memories and at weddings of the purity of love.
I have drawn and painted daisies against a blue wash of color in watercolor on cold press watercolor paper. The original painting is 7″ x 5″ and comes with a mat.
