Description
Resplendence in Flight, print, 8″ x 8″, of Lindsey Kiser’s original scratchboard.
Resplendence in Flight was exhibited at the Headley Whitney Museum of Art in Lexington, Kentucky in 2025.
Is there anything more resplendent than an iridescent hummingbird visiting a flower garden? What brings your heart gladness? What sparks joy?
For the artist, hummingbirds are enchanting in a way other songbirds just aren’t. Hummingbirds always appear frenzied and frantic, but every now and then, one will be suspended in a static state of hum near their intended target, whether a blossom or a feeder. At that breathless moment, the feathers can almost be counted. In an instant, it is a whir of color streaking through the yard to the next object of attention.
Collect a prints from Lindsey’s Garden of Wonders series to create a personal reading nook or prayer warrior room as a reminder to slow down and take a breath to observe the beauty in the moment that is right now.
