Description
You Only Live Twice was made on location in the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area fifteen miles north of St. George, Utah during the St George Plein Air Art Festival in April 2026. It was exhibited as part of this exhibition with 75 artists from 16 states and three countries. Lindsey’s Ash Down Gorge, scratchboard, 2″ x 3″, took first place in the mini category.
The curvilinear canyon walls that narrow form a bilateral symmetrical landscape with an expanse of clouds above, a reflected sky below in a pool of snowmelt, and a small waterfall bifurcating the two heavens. Thus, “You Only Live Twice” was the only title that seemed truly fitting for this composition.
