“Northern Highlights” is a 4 3/8″ x 7″ original watercolor painting that comes displayed in a 5″ x 7″ acrylic, magnetic frame. The idea for this painting came to me while on a trip to Drummond Island, Michigan on Lake Huron. The scenery was too much for me to take in and I had to re-create or re-present the scene in my own pen and watercolor style immediately and on location (plein air). My hunting buddies were astounded!
