October’s birth flower is the cosmo.
Lindsey Kiser shared, “When I was a girl, my mother planted comos in our backyard vegetable garden every year for cut flowers and to add an attractant for pollinators to visit our garden. Long after most vegetables had been harvested, the cosmos and straggling peppers would remain into October until the first frost. Since then, I’ve learned that the whimsical comso is designated as the October Birth Month Flower.”
Cosmos represent harmony, balance, tranquility, and inner peace.
“I have drawn in pen and painted in watercolor pink cosmos on cold press watercolor paper,” shared Lindsey. The original painting is 7″ x 5″ and comes with a mat.
