July Birth Flower: The Larkspur

July’s birth flower is the larkspur. I took reference photos of the native larkspur wildflowers near my home at the new Hartig Park in Gallatin County.

Larkspurs represent lightness, levity, and strong bonds of love.

I have drawn in pen and painted in watercolor larkspur on cold press watercolor paper. The original painting is 7″ x 5″ and comes with a mat.
